National Commission for Women in India has set up a dedicated round the clock (24 x 7) Helpline number (7827170170) for women in distress since 24th July, 2021. The website for the helpline is www.ncwwoenhelpline.in. The round-the-clock helpline provides online support to women affected by violence or mental stress through referral by linking them with appropriate authorities.
